The Bill Mehrtens Memorial Highland Games competitions run from 12:00pm to 5:00pm both days on the grounds of the Celtic Fair at Walker's Bluff. The competition will consist of two equal groups. Matched individuals will throw against each other and the winner of each event will earn a ribbon to be placed on their clan Flag. There could be up to 36 individual battles on the field, with the rest of the athletes cheering for their own clansman to prevail.

Irish Whiskey Tastings: There will be Irish Whiskey Tastings held in the Gazebo on both days of the festival, at 2pm and 4pm on Saturday, then again at 2pm and 4pm on Sunday. The menu includes Paddy's, Jamison Cask Mate, Green Spot, and Connemara. Each tasting is a $15/person.

Also On the Festival Grounds: Both days of the festival, listen for the bagpiping sounds of Sean Folsom. Catch a selfie with Liam "the Extra Large" Leprechaun! Partake in a performance with Chris McBrien the Magic Storyteller. Children may check out the Walker's Bluff Bouncy Castles or explore the Irish Children's Village. Merchandise vendors will be available to sell a variety of arts, crafts, and local interest items. And of course, Walker's Bluff will have a tent for selling wine, beer, food, and non-alcoholic beverages!
