Dear Past and Future Volunteers,

Time to put on your green and show your love of all things Irish! The Southern Illinois Irish Festival is quickly approaching, and we need your help! Without the help of our fantastic volunteers, the festival would not be possible. So please take a moment to read this email and let us know if you can help out. We only ask for volunteers to work one 3- hour shift (what a great, easy, and fun way to give back to our community!). However, if your availability does not match with the shift blocks listed below, do not despair. Just let me know when you are available - we need all the help we can get.

The Festival runs from September 30 - October 2, see below for specific information on the times and the areas where we need assistance.

What do Irish Festival Volunteers do?

Friday volunteers help set-up the tents, tables, parameter fences, kids play area, and decorations.

Saturday volunteers staff the entrance gates, finish any needed set-up, sell drink tokens at the beer/wine tent, man the festival/merchandise table, gather patron surveys, staff the soda concessions, assist as general runners/gophers, and help in the hospitality tent.

Sunday volunteers help in all the same areas as Saturday, and with tear down of the festival at the end of the day.
